Chris has lived and worked in Mt Maunganui and Tauranga for over 25 years. She has previously lived and worked in Hamilton, Wellington and Auckland, employed in various local, regional and central government agencies.
Chris has developed her private practice since 2000.
Chris has trained in Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She also uses methods from Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Solution Focused approaches, to respond to the needs of each client.
Chris engages with regular peer supervision, clinical supervision and Maori Cultural Supervision.
